Privacy policy
This is the plain-English version of what ChopBusy (chopbusy.com) collects and why. Short version: very little, and we never sell it.
Newsletter signup
If you sign up for the "3 Fixes" newsletter, you give us your email address (and a first name if you choose to). Our email provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), stores that address and sends the emails on our behalf. Kit may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked so we can tell which fixes are useful. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. Affiliate links and cookies
Some links go to software we write about (for example Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, Make or n8n) and are affiliate links. When you click one, the company on the other end (or its affiliate network, such as PartnerStack) may set a cookie in your browser so it can tell that the sale came from ChopBusy. That cookie belongs to them, not us, and it's covered by their privacy policy. ChopBusy itself doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. See our affiliate disclosure.
Hosting and analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and block attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and popular pages. It's privacy-focused: it doesn't use cookies to track you or build a profile of you across sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
- We don't run third-party ad networks or retargeting pixels.
- We don't share your email with sponsors, consultants or partners.
If you email us
If you write to us, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply and follow up.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email, block or clear cookies in your browser, and ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. ChopBusy is not aimed at children under 13.
